Blended+ | Empowering students with the flexibility to learn online, in-person, and off-campus.

The Blended+ program fits our students’ varying needs, interests, and lifestyles. This program blends scheduled hybrid classes with mandatory in-person school days, off-site excursions, and personalized flex time—letting students choose where they learn and what they are working on. Expert educators are available for individualized support throughout the week, and students can choose to spend their days learning at school or from home (or anywhere with an internet connection).

Students have full access to the extracurricular and Integrated Studies programming at Calgary Academy.

Experience the best of both worlds with our hybrid synchronous learning. Four mornings a week, expert teachers lead live, interactive lessons via Microsoft Teams, allowing students to learn from home, another location with internet access, or in our classroom. Teachers provide clear explanations, real-world examples, and engaging activities while regularly checking for understanding to keep students on track. With the flexibility to join from anywhere, students stay connected, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Blended+ students step beyond the classroom and into real-world environments, engaging in hands-on activities like the Biodiversity Program at the Calgary Zoo or conducting fieldwork at the University of Calgary's Biogeoscience Institute. These unique opportunities provide deeper learning, allowing students to explore complex concepts in authentic settings while connecting with industry experts and researchers. By engaging in these shared experiences, students become part of a dynamic learning community.
